Leah Hauck

Leah, a native of Orlando, began coordinating weddings in 2009 "just for fun" as friends saw her knack for organizing details and in 2014 she quit her "normal" job and officially launched Leah Marie Weddings & Events.  

She finds so much joy in relieving the bride, groom, and their families of all duties other than, saying "I do" (and dancing) on the wedding day. She love the challenge of staying calm and positive under pressure and the comfort of knowing she is prepared for the unexpected. 

Leah graduated from the University of Central Florida's Rosen College of Hospitality Management, among the top-ranked colleges for hospitality and events in the world, with a degree in Event Management.

Leah is married to her best friend, Trevor, and they have a sweet baby boy, Hudson.

 

Lauren Swope

Lauren joined the team in December of 2014 and has been assisting in the planning and coordination of our weddings since then. Due to her sweet friendship and unwavering loyalty, she has had the honor of standing by many friends as a bridesmaid on their big day and could sometimes be characterized as a "chronic" bridesmaid.  Lauren's extensive experience as a bridesmaid has given her a unique perspective and insight into the details of a wedding.  Realizing her love of weddings, she decided to pursue wedding coordinating. After graduating from Florida State University she moved to Winter Park, FL and started to chase this dream.

Lauren knows there are many details that go into a wedding day and it is her desire to take the pressure off the bride and groom so that they are able to focus on their commitment as husband and wife. She is a joy to be around and always filled with kind and encouraging words for those around her!
